The website for the Royal Commission into Misconduct in the Banking, Superannuation and Financial Services Industry is now operating – www.financialservices.royalcommission.gov.au

The site confirms the initial public hearing will be in Melbourne on Monday 12 February 2018 and will be streamed live through the Royal Commission’s website.

The online form is also available on the website – for people wishing to make submissions about misconduct in the financial services industry (see the Public Submissions Page).

Practice Directions 1 & 2 have also been issued. Practice Guideline 1 concerns procedures establishing the conduct of the Royal Commission (including method of communication with the Royal Commission, production of documents, and confidentiality). Practice Direction 2 concerns the procedure for making a claim of legal professional privilege.
